Lady Gaga’s alter ego opens the MTV Video Music Awards…

You can say what you like about Lady Gaga, but she never fails to give us something to talk about.

Last night the controversial star opened the MTV Video Music Awards at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles with a monologue delivered by her male alter ego Jo Calderone.

While smoking, drinking and swearing, Calderone said:

“Lady Gaga? She left me. She said it always starts out good and then the guys get crazy. I did, I got crazy. But she’s f***ing crazy too.”

He/she continued, “She gets out of bed, puts on heels, she comes out of the bathroom dripping wet, she still has the heels on. And what’s with hair? At first it was sexy but now, I’m just confused.”

So are we.

She/he then went on to perform ‘You and I’ and was joined on stage by Queen’s Brian May, who belted out an impressive guitar solo and later that night Gaga was honoured with the Best Video With A Message gong and the Best Female Video award for Born This Way.
